Erin Sanders - Tight Lil Babe..!!

5 Most Famous Comedians of the World

Feeling lonely, feeling depressed, feeling as though the weight of the world is pulling you down and nobody cares…. you don’t need a psychiatrist…. you need a laugh!
Charlie Chaplain

Charlie Spencer Chaplin, the symbol of humour and probably the synonym for comedy. He was and he still is the king of silent comedy without a doubt. Charles was born in London, England, on April 16th 1889. He inherited his versatile yet unique talent from his parents who also belonged to acting and the field of creativity. He worked in his first acceptable stage show at the age of 14 and appeared as “Billy” the page boy, in support of William Gillette in “Sherlock Holmes”. Soon after this, Charlie started a career as a comedian in vaudeville, which eventually took him to the United States in 1910 as a featured player with the Fred Karno Repertoire Company. He did not have to look back after that as he was an instant hit with the American audience and was soon offered a role in a motion picture. Confident with his newly acquired success he later on became on independent producer and made films like, A kid(1921), A Woman of Paris(1923), A Gold Rush(1925) etc.

Chaplin’s adaptability and versatility never ended there. It extended to writing, music and sports. He wrote at least four books, “My Trip Abroad”, “A Comedian Sees the World”, “My Autobiography”, “My Life in Pictures”. He even used to write all of his scripts. He was a composer as well, and had written so many songs too. He was the true legend… the undeniably talented and the greatest comedian of all times.
Jimmy Tarbuck
Who could be better known as the greatest comedian after Charlie Chaplin, but Jimmy Tarbuck. He definitely never belonged to a world more remote than his world. He held his own world of comedy. But does anyone know that he was the son of a bookmaker. Oh yes he was, and maybe that is why he had a propensity to act around. Although he never probably wanted to stick to one profession, which is why one would find his past trying hard on several jobs but could never actually excel due to his impatient attitude. He had great passion for golf and he was very famous for it as well. He had begun his career as a comedian at the ripe age of 22. He made his TV debut on a British TV and never looked back. After that he made several guest appearances in many comedy programs but he almost instantly became the heartthrob of millions. He also hosted many variety shows. It was his exceptional screen presence and his talent to keep his viewers glued to his comedy shows. He was most definitely one of a kind comedian, one of the greatest to have ever been known.
Bill Cosby

Bill Cosby, since his very childhood was much famous for his propensity for clowning around and making jokes. He was also very involved in sports. He played football, basketball, baseball, and was on the track team. He was very hard working. As he worked at different places like at a supermarket stocking shelves, a shoe shine boy, and even worked at shoe repair shop to help his family. But of course he could not see himself doing that for the rest of his life. That was probably when he must have realized the value of education, as he got himself an equivalency diploma through correspondence courses. He worked so hard that he even got himself a scholarship to the Temple University in Philadelphia. Even throughout all that, he kept on ‘clowning around’ telling jokes and making his friends and co-workers laugh. It was during that time that his popularity amongst his friends, customers and people around increased tremendously. He had realized his talent which is why when at the University, he decided to take comedy as his profession. He went on to work as a stand-up comedian at several clubs across Philadelphia and later moved on to New York City. Through there and moving on, he got himself to release his first comedy album titled ‘Bill Cosby Is Very Funny Fellow … Right!’ His popularity outshone the show’s lead star Robert Culp. It just continued throughout his career so much he made his way through the hearts of billions of people!
Edie Murphy

Okay, who doesn’t know Edward Regan, or shall I say “Eddie” Murphy”. He is an American stand-up comedian. He had always had desire to join the show business, even when he was growing up in the streets of New York. He lost his father when he was quite young and was raised along with his two brothers, by his mother who was a telephone company employee and his stepfather who was a foreman at an ice-cream factory. He seemed to have an natural artistic talent which confirmed itself at the young age of 15, when he started to perform at youth centres, local bars and Roosevelt High School Auditorium wooing spectators with his spot on impersonation of celebrities and attitude on life. He soon moved up in the entertainment industry and made it to a Manhattan showcase, ‘The Comic Strip’. The club’s co-owners, Robert Wachs and Richard Tienken, were so dazed with Murphy’s ability that they agreed to manage his career. He was eventually cast as a characterized player, but by the end of his first season, however, he had moved up to star status. It was Beverley Hills Cop (1984) which made Edied Murphy a superstar overnight and most notably a celebrity worldwide and it remains to be the biggest blockbuster to date, still holding its popularity.
Murphy has resided the Hollywood standard of living with hullabaloo, disapproval, gossip, and the approbation of millions worldwide for his talents. In a sustaining role that showcased Murphy’s comedic traits and magnetism. In spite of being voiced in dialogues about his vocation, Eddie Murphy sustains to live a happy life with his wife and kids.
Jim Carrey
Although Jim had begun his career way back in 1988, and continued with low budget films which didn’t get him much fame. But it was in 1994 when was cast as the title character in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective which made a whopping $72 million domestically, and the world was introduced to yet another, but one of a kind, the greatest comedians of all times… Jim Carrey! High sketch characters followed when he was cast as Stanley Ipkiss in ‘The Mask’ for which he gained a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy, and as Lloyd Christmas in the comedy film ‘Dumb and Dumber’. Carrey simply continued his triumph after receiving main roles in numerous exceptionally popular films.

Prince William and Kate Middleton to invite public to wedding

Prince William and Kate Middleton will invite 100 members of the public to their wedding via a random draw.

The couple - who will tie the knot in a lavish ceremony at London's Westminster Abbey on April 29 next year - want the British people to be deeply involved in the celebrations and are delighted their plan of inviting a selection of ordinary citizens has been approved.

A source involved with the St James's Palace planning committee revealed: "William and Kate wanted the British people involved at a deeper level than simply holding street parties.

"They were crystal clear on this from the outset and were delighted when the idea of a random selection was mooted.

"Those lucky enough to land an invitation will only find out when it drops on their door mat. Can you imagine? It's like winning a Willy Wonka Golden Ticket for your front-row seat in history."

Along with receiving an invitation to the royal ceremony, the lucky 100 guests - who will mix with a host of international royals and heads of state expected to include US President Barack Obama - will also attend the reception which will reportedly be held at Buckingham Palace.

The source added to The Sun newspaper: "The fortunate few will become the envy of their neighbourhood.

"They will rub shoulders with royalty and world leaders - what a thing to tell your grandchildren."

It has not yet been decided how the invited members of the public will be chosen.

Meanwhile William's younger brother, Prince Harry will take on the role of Supporter for his brother.

A royal source said: "It will be an incredibly emotional day for Harry as well as William.

"They will both be thinking about how proud their mother Princess Diana would be if she had lived to see this wedding. People sometimes forget what those boys have been through. William couldn't have chosen anyone else."

Royals usually choose two Supporters or Best Men but it is unclear if William will follow this tradition.

The source explained: "William is very much his own man. He is undecided if he will go for another Supporter or who that will be."

If William does choose it is likely his best friend Thomas van Straubenzee will share the duties with Harry, 26
